Overview
The ConsoleToString function exports the contents of a console window to a string.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = ConsoleToString ( [handle hConsole] );
Parameters
hConsole
An optional handle (or console ID as handle) to a console window. Omitting hConsole will select the default console.
Return Value
Returns a string containing the contents of the window or an empty string on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code. Note, and empty window will return an empty string with without indication of an error.
Remarks
This function only operates on console windows that have been created in GUI mode for the application.
