Overview
The SplitProperName function parses a buffer for words and loads them into a list.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string[] = SplitProperName ( string data );
Parameters
data
A string containing the source data.
Return Value
Returns a string array with two named elements or empty on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
The SplitProperName function attempts to take a string with person’s name and pull it apart into first and last name. The returned array will contain two named key positions: “First” and “Last”. The function is basic and does not process middle names or initials. It will process corporate and legal terms such as “llc” or “plc”
