DataObjectGetAllocation Function
Overview
The DataObjectGetAllocation function returns the number of bytes allocated to the Data Object.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = DataObjectGetAllocation ( handle hData );
Parameters
hData
A handle specifying the Data Object.
Return Value
Returns an int and the total allocated size in bytes of the Data Object or zero on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code.
Remarks
The allocated size is the total bytes allocated, but not necessarily used, for a specific Data Object.
