Overview
The LocalToUTC function converts an ISO-8601 string or date-time qword value to UTC.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = LocalToUTC ( string source );
qword = LocalToUTC ( qword source );
Parameters
source
A formatted ISO-8601 string or a 64-bit date-time qword. The type of source parameter determines the return type.
Return Value
Returns an ISO-8601 string or a date-time qword value containing the UTC date and time value. If an error occurs the return value will be an empty string or zero, respectively. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
The LocalToUTC function allows one direction of transposition of UTC date-time values to local date-time values. If the source parameter is a string, it must be ISO-8601 formatted.
