Overview
The SetMessageBoxDetail function all for a detail message and an optional ID field for display with the next message box.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = SetMessageBoxDetail ( string detail, [string id] );
Parameters
detail
An string containing message detail.
id
An option string to display as a message box ID. The ID only appears on dialogs with the MB_STOP or MB_EXCLAMATION.
Return Value
Returns an int value as a formatted error code or a formatted error code with the parameter number ORed with the code.
Remarks
SetMessageBoxDetail allows supplemental data to be set for the next message box display Once displayed, the information is cleared. For example:
SetMessageBoxDetail("Check your firewall settings and make sure ports 80 and 443 for www.mysite.com is not blocked.", "12001");
MessageBox('x', "Unable to communicate with server.");
Would result in the following:
Pressing the down button will expand the dialog.
