ProgressDisableCancel Function
Overview
The ProgressDisableCancel function disables the cancel button on a progress window if visible and prevents the window from receiving any further cancel notifications.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = ProgressDisableCancel ( );
Parameters
(none)
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE if the function succeeds or -1 if the function fails. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
If there is a delay in completing an operation, this function is useful in acknowledging to the user that the cancel button press was accepted.
If no progress window is open or if the progress window is owned by another process when the ProgressSetCaption function is called, the GetLastError function will return ERROR_SOFT.
