Overview
The GetAdjustURLFilename function will adjust a URL with a ‘file:’ scheme by removing the scheme data.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = GetAdjustURLFilename ( string URL );
Parameters
URL
A string containing a URL with a file: scheme. The URL can be a maximum of 1024 characters.
Return Value
Returns a string containing the adjusted URL or the same string if the URL did not contain a file: scheme. The GetLastError function can be used to determine if the URL was adjusted. If adjusted, the return value of the GetLastError function will be TRUE; otherwise it is FALSE.
Remarks
The GetAdjustURLFilename can be used to preprocess incoming URLs to be used with the file functions. Windows will not natively accept the ‘file:’ scheme. This function only adjusts the URL if that scheme is used.
