GetApplicationSettingsName Function

Overview

The GetApplicationSettingsName function returns the filename and path of the application’s settings file (INI file).

Syntax/Parameters

string = GetApplicationSettingsName ( );

Parameters

(none)

 

Return Value

Returns a string containing the filename and path or an empty string on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error.

Remarks

The application settings file covers basic information such as file history, application desktop positioning and other non-preference items.

GetScriptFilename — Gets the filename and path name of the main script (called for execution).

GetScriptFolder — Gets the path of the main (called for execution) script file.
