Chapter Six — File Functions (continued)
Overview
The ZipWrite function writes the contents of a Zip Object to a compressed file.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = ZipWrite ( handle hZip, string target );
Parameters
hZip
A handle to a Zip Object.
target
A string containing a fully qualified destination filename and path for the resultant compressed file.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
The ZipWrite function completes the processing of a Zip Object. The object should be created with the ZipCreate function and files can be added using the ZipAddFile function. Once the Zip Object is no longer needed, its handle should be closed using the CloseHandle function.
Each entry is processed by opening the source with (read and write share) and capturing the file modified time. If NTFS, the time is converted to FAT resolution.
