Chapter Nine — Dialog Functions (continued)
Overview
The ControlHideGroup function will disable and hide a group of controls so that it is not visible on a dialog.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = ControlHideGroup ( int id );
Parameters
id
An int that identifies the first dialog control to hide.
Return Value
Returns an int value as ERROR_NONE on success, ERROR_RANGE if id is an invalid control ID for the open dialog, or ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE if no dialog is open.
Remarks
Hiding a control will automatically disable it. Keyboard and mouse input on a disabled control is ignored. Other controls around the hidden control are not automatically repositioned.
All controls are hidden, regardless of state, from the first id until there is a break in the series of ids.
This function can only be used within a dialog procedure.
