ComboBoxReset Function

Overview

The ComboBoxReset function removes all items from the list box and edit control of a combo box.

Syntax/Parameters

Syntax

int = ComboBoxReset ( int id );

Parameters

id

An int containing the control ID of a combo box.

Return Value

Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure. Common errors include: ERROR_RANGE if id is an invalid control ID for the open dialog or ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE if no dialog is open. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.

Remarks

The ComboBoxReset function essentially returns the combo box to its uninitialized state prior to performing any insert, load, or add functions.

ComboBoxAddItem — Adds item to combo box list box section. Item may be a string or an integer value.

ComboBoxDeleteItem — Deletes an item from list box section of a combo box at a specified position.

ComboBoxLoadFolder — Loads the list box portion of a combo box with filenames. folders, drives, etc.
