Overview
The ComboBoxShowDropDown function allows the script to force the drop down list box to appear or disappear.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = ComboBoxShowDropDown ( int id, [boolean mode] );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of a combo box.
mode
An optional boolean indicating whether to show or hide the drop down (TRUE or FALSE, respectively). The default is to show the drop down.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure. Common error codes are as follows: ERROR_RANGE if id is an invalid control ID for the open dialog or ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE if no dialog is open. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
This function applies to drop down combo box styles CBS_DROPDOWN and CBS_DROPDOWNLIST.
