DataControlFindRowData Function
Overview
The DataControlFindRowData function scans a data control’s row data for a matching value.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = DataControlFindRowData ( int id, dword data, [int row] );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of the data control.
data
A dword value to match during the search.
row
An optional zero-based int specifying the row to begin the search. If omitted, the search starts at index position 0.
Return Value
Returns an int value as the zero-based index of the row matching data or -1 on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
The row caller data word can be used to store indices or other information regarding the source data or for editing purposes.
