DataControlGetCellText Function
Overview
The DataControlGetCellText function retrieves the display content of a cell. Normally, this is the basic cell text but for other types, such as check boxes, the data can be ‘0’ or ‘1’ or other information.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = DataControlGetCellText ( int id, int row, int column );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of the data control.
row
A zero-based int specifying the row for the cell.
column
A zero-based int specifying the column for the cell.
Return Value
A UTF encoded string containing the cell’s display text. The string will be empty on error. Since an empty string is valid data, the GetLastError, IsError or IsNotError function must be used to determine if an error occurred.
Remarks
The display content of a cell may be up to 2MB in size.
