DataControlGetRowSelection Function
Overview
The DataControlGetRowSelection function returns the selected row within a data control, if available.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = DataControlGetRowSelection ( int id );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of the data control.
Return Value
An int containing the zero-base index of the selected row, -1 if no item is selected, or a formatted error code on failure. Common error codes are as follows: ERROR_RANGE if id is an invalid control ID for the open dialog or ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE if no dialog is open. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
The DataControlGetRowSelection is meant to return the selected row for Data Controls running in row select mode with simple single select mode. The function will return the currently selected row.
