HypertextControlSetText Function
Overview
The HypertextControlSetText function sets text in a ‘syslink’ class control.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = HypertextControlSetText ( int id, string data );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of a ‘syslink’ class control.
data
A string containing text and simple HTML linking tags.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure, ERROR_RANGE if id is an invalid control ID for the open dialog, or ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE if no dialog is open. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
The text should be basic text with one or more links specified using the <A> tag. Character entities and other information is not processed and will be displayed as simple text. the ‘&‘ character is used as a quick key indicator, similar to static controls.
When the user clicks on a link, a notification message is sent to the notify procedure.
