Chapter Nine — Dialog Functions (continued)
Overview
The TabControlInsert function inserts a tab/button at the specified position.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = TabControlInsert ( int id, int index, string name );
Parameters
id
An int containing the control ID of the scrollbar control.
index
An int specifying the zero-based index to insert the tab before.
name
A string containing the name or text of the tab. The maximum size of a tab text is 255 characters.
Return Value
An int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure. Common errors include: ERROR_RANGE if id is an invalid control ID for the open dialog or ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE if no dialog is open.
Remarks
The function does not check the range of the index parameter. When a tab control is created, it has no tabs or buttons. The TabControlAdd and TabControlInsert functions can be used to add tabs to the control.
