SGMLGetCharacterValue Function
Overview
The SGMLGetCharacterValue function returns the character value (position) of a parse character entity. If an entity name was used, the entity value must be defined in the DTD.
Syntax/Parameters

int = SGMLGetCharacterValue ( handle hSGML );
Parameters
hSGML
A handle to an SGML Object.
Return Value
An int as the character value or zero (0) on error. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code. Improperly formatted or undefined entities will result in an error.
Remarks
The SGMLGetCharacterValue function processes decimal, hex and entity names (based on the DTD). The character value returned will be a 16-bit UNICODE value.
