Chapter Eleven — SGML Functions (continued)
Overview
The HTMLAddCell function adds the open, close and content for a table cell. The text is encoded as it is added to the cell.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = HTMLAddCell ( handle hObject, string text,
[int
colspan], [string | dword width],
[bool
no_wrap] );
Parameters
hObject
A handle to an HTML Writer Object.
text
A string containing text to be placed inside the paragraph. [This text will be formatted as PCDATA.]
colspan
An optional int specifying the number of columns the cell should span. By default, the value is 1.
width
An optional width specification as either a string or dword. If a string, the value must be valid CSS length measurement. If a dword, it must be a properly formatted pvalue.
no_wrap
An optional bool flag to set the cell to ‘no wrap’ mode. When set, the NOWRAP attribute is added to the cell tag.
Return Value
An int as a ERROR_NONE (0) for no error or a formatted error code.
Remarks
The HTMLAddCell function provides an easy method of adding a complete cell. If a cell is open, it will automatically be closed.
A table and a row must be open or the function will return an error. If an existing cell is open, it will automatically be closed.
A <TD> tag is used to contain the cell data and is closed by a </TD> tag.
