11.17 Low Level Inline XBRL

11.17.1 Overview

As Inline XBRL functionality partially supported across platforms. This section lists various functions to explore and edit inline XBRL files.

All functions are in beta or prototype mode.

11.17.2 Reading

The iXBRLCreateObject will map an Inline XBRL file.

11.17.3 Writing

Writing is not supported at this juncture.

11.17.4 Functions

iXBRLAddItem — Adds an item to the inline XBRL map for later writing.

iXBRLCommit — Commits any pending changes to the associated object.

iXBRLCreateObject — Creates an iXBRL object based on a specific file.

iXBRLGetIDMap — Returns a sorted map of all the IDs used on iXBRL elements.

iXBRLGetItemCount — Returns the number of items in the map.

iXBRLGetItemProperties — Returns the properties for a specified item position in the map.
