Overview
The XBRLGetSchemaRef function returns the schema reference for the loaded instance.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = XBRLGetSchemaRef ( handle hXM );
Parameters
hXM
A handle to an XBRL Object.
Return Value
Returns a string with the schema reference or an empty array on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code.
Remarks
An empty schema reference can be returned without an error if an instance is loaded and it did not contain a schema reference or if an instance has not been loaded.
The schema reference can be used as the default taxonomy to load when executing the XBRLLoadTaxonomy function.
