Overview
The SerialTxBlock function transmits a binary block of data.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = SerialTxBlock ( handle hSerial, var data, [int size] );
Parameters
hSerial
A handle to a Serial Port Object.
data
A variable to submit for transmission. It must occupy contiguous memory.
size
An optional int specifying the size of the data. If omitted, the size is set to the size of the item.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure. Use the GetLastError to retrieve a formatted error code.
Remarks
The SerialTxBlock function can send binary data in the form of a character array or any data element.
