ClipboardIsUnicodeAvailable Function

Overview

The ClipboardIsUnicodeAvailable function tests if Unicode text is available on the clipboard.

Syntax/Parameters

Syntax

boolean = ClipboardIsUnicodeAvailable ( );

Parameters

(none)

Return Value

Returns a boolean value as TRUE if Unicode text is available and FALSE if it is not.

Remarks

Use the ClipboardGetUnicode function to retrieve text from the clipboard. Note that this function will return TRUE if a compatible format is available such as OEM or plain text.

ClipboardGetText — Gets plain ANSI text from the clipboard.

ClipboardGetUnicode — Gets plain text as Unicode from the clipboard.
