GetPreferenceData Function

Overview

The GetPreferenceData function returns a list of all application settings in INI format.

Syntax/Parameters

Syntax

string = GetPreferenceData ( );

Parameters

(none)

 

Return Value

A string containing the settings or empty on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code.

Remarks

The returned values are in INI format delimited by single line endings (0x0D).

GetPreferenceFile — Returns the filename and path for the preference files being used.

LoadPreferences — Loads the preferences from a specified file.

ResetPreferences — Resets the application preference to the installation defaults.

SavePreferences — Saves the application preferences to the default location or a specified file.
