Overview
The ActivateEditWindow function brings a specified window and view into view and optionally sets focus to the window.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = ActivateEditWindow ( handle hwTarget, [boolean focus] );
int = ActivateEditWindow ( int index, [int view], [boolean focus] );
Parameters
hwTarget
A handle to an MDI client or a specific edit view. Or,
index
An int specifying an edit window index. And,
view
An optional int specifying a zero-based view index.
focus
An optional boolean flag specifying whether to explicitly set focus on the window. The default is TRUE or to set focus on the window.
Return Value
Returns an int value as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
By default the edit window will receive focus. Note that users can interfere with the active window once set depending on the operating environment.
