Overview
The GetActiveEditObject function returns a handle for an Edit Object to the active edit window (view).

handle = GetActiveEditObject ( );
Parameters
(none)
Return Value
Returns a handle to an Edit Object or NULL_HANDLE on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
Not all edit windows/views support Edit Objects and some that support edit objects may only partially support edit functions. For example, text operations cannot be performed on Image View.
