DataViewGetColumnCount Function
Overview
The DataViewGetColumnCount function returns the number of columns within a Data View Object.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = DataViewGetColumnCount ( handle hView );
Parameters
hView
A handle either to a Data View Object or to a window that employs Data View.
Return Value
Returns an int representing the number of columns within the sheet. If an error occurs, the return value will be -1. Use the GetLastError function to determine the nature of the error.
Remarks
The column count represents the number of discrete columns. If cell merges are employed, it does not affect the number of columns.
