18.10 Forms View Functions

18.10.1 Overview

Forms View has a set of functions to access the view and to configure and control various aspects of functionality. The Forms View Object uses the same handle as Data View Object except that the view being accessed must be Forms View compatible.

Forms View is generally implemented with a Data View template in combination with hooks and events to load, edit, save, validate and proof data.

18.10.2 Functions

FormsViewNewView — Creates a new form based on a data template in Forms View.

FormsViewOpenFile — Opens a data form from a source file and template in Forms View.

FormsViewSetSaveOptions — Sets options for the Save As dialog in Forms View.
