Chapter Twenty-one — EDGARView Integration (continued)
This section discusses functions related to referencing internal application libraries and EDGAR information located at the SEC. The information referenced is “public-facing” meaning no credentials are needed, only access to the system. The system is also available 24/7.
Legato functions access the EDGAR Company Database and read the data into lists and tables. If information is to be repeatedly referenced, it is recommended that information be locally stored and referenced. For example, rather than looking up a single class, draw down the entire series/class table and search that table.
