Chapter Twenty-one — EDGARView Integration (continued)
Overview
The EDACSaveFile function saves the specified object to the default or specified location.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = EDACSaveFile ( handle hEDAC, [string name] );
Parameters
hEDAC
A handle to an open EDAC Object.
name
An optional string specifying a fully qualified file and path to save the file.
Return Value
Returns an int value as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
If the object already has a filename associated and name was not specified, data is save to the that filename (default location). Otherwise the data is saved tot he specified file using the format as dictated by the extension.
If the save is performed as an XML or EIS file, the documents for the submission must be available for read/write access or the save will fail.
