Chapter Twenty-three — XBRL Functions (continued)
XBRLViewGetLineItemLabels Function
Overview
The XBRLViewGetLineItemLabels function returns all the labels for a specified presentation.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string [] = XBRLViewGetLineItemLabels ( handle hXBRL, int presentation );
Parameters
hXBRL
A handle containing the reference to an XBRL Object.
presentation
A zero-based int specifying the presentation to reference.
Return Value
A string array containing the labels for all the line items or an empty array on error. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code.
Remarks
The XBRLViewGetLineItemLabels function retrieves all the label text for all rows. The index position within the array matches the index position on the presentation (view). An entry can be empty which indicates the row entry is empty.
Rows can contain invalid or labels that do not have tags associated with the text. In these cases, the intersecting data on the presentation is not linked to an XBRL fact.
The label role is not presented in this mode. XBRL View will assign a role on export.
