Overview
The IsUpper function tests if a string or character contains only upper case characters.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
boolean = IsUpper ( mixed value );
Parameters
value
A string or
a char to test. The character can be any type that will resolve to an integer.
Return Value
Returns TRUE if value is only upper case characters or FALSE if it is not.
Remarks
Spaces, punctuation, numbers, and other non-alphabetic characters will cause the IsUpper function to return FALSE. To test for upper characters mixed with punctuation, use the IsAllUpper function.
