Overview
The LogSetFileType function overrides the implied file type for an associated target file.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = LogSetFileType ( [handle hLog], dword type | string code );
Parameters
hLogObject
An optional handle to a Log Object created with the LogCreate function. If this handle is omitted or NULL_HANDLE is specified, the function will apply the error summary to the default log.
type
A dword specifying a file type. Or,
code
A string as a file type code.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
Setting a file type will override the default type for the target. For example, this can be useful when an underlying window’s file type is HTML but the edit window type is Data View. This applies to the entire log.
