GetMappedTextFileType Function
Overview
The GetMappedTextFileType function retrieves the file type code for an associated Mapped Text Object.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
dword = GetMappedTextFileType ( handle hMappedText );
Parameters
hMappedText
A handle to a valid Mapped Text or Edit Object.
Return Value
Returns a dword value containing a file type code or zero on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information. It is possible to have a file type of FT_UNKNOWN (0).
Remarks
A file type is normally set for Mapped Text Object only when it is associated with an Edit Window.
