GetEditObjectChangeCount Function
Overview
The GetEditObjectChangeCount function retrieves the number of changes since the edit window was opened or saved.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = GetEditObjectChangeCount ( handle hObject, [boolean flag] );
Parameters
hObject
A handle to an Edit Object or an Edit View.
flag
An optional boolean value specifying whether the return value reflects the count since the edit window was opened or saved. If TRUE, the count reflects changes since the edit window was opened. If omitted or FALSE, the number of pending changes since the last save is returned.
Return Value
Returns an int representing the number of changes or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
Saving the edit window resets the count of pending changes to zero.
