HasColumnData Function

Overview

The HasColumnData function tests if a table column contains data.

Syntax/Parameters

Syntax

boolean = HasColumnData ( var[][] table, int index );

Parameters

table

An array of string or int data which must resolve to two dimensions.

index

A int specifying the column to test.

Return Value

Returns a boolean as TRUE if the table column contains data or FALSE if it does not. On error, the function returns FALSE. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.

Remarks

The HasColumnData function checks the axis depth and the content. The array must be two-dimensional. Strings are trimmed of trailing spaces before testing.

HasColumnData differs from IsColumnEmpty only in that the returned result is the logical opposite value.
