Chapter Eighteen — DataView Integration (continued)
Overview
The DataViewHideColumn function hides the column, including the header (if enabled) and all the cells in that column in a Data View Object.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = DataViewHideColumn ( handle object, int index );
Parameters
object
A handle either to a Data View Object or to a window that employs Data View.
index
An int specifying the zero-based column index.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
Hiding a column effectively disables all the cells within that column. Cells spanning the hidden area are reduced in size.
