Chapter Eighteen — DataView Integration (continued)
Overview
The DataViewShowColumn function displays the column, including the header (if enabled) and all the cells in that column in a Data View Object.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = DataViewShowColumn ( handle object, int index );
Parameters
object
A handle to either a Data View Object or to a window that employs Data View.
index
An int specifying the zero-based column index.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code on failure.
Remarks
Showing a column effectively enables and displays all the cells within that column. Cells spanning the hidden area are reduced in size. If the width of the cell is 0, the cell will remain hidden.
