Overview
The IsWildMatch function compares two strings using a wildcard match algorithm.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
boolean = IsWildMatch ( string target, string match );
Parameters
target
The source string to compare.
match
A string containing a test string. Wildcard characters are permitted within test. The ‘*’ character specifies one or more characters while ‘?’ specifies a single character match.
Return Value
Returns TRUE if base matches test and FALSE if it does not.
Remarks
The match is case-sensitive.
