Overview
The CellAddressToIndex function translates a cell address into a two-element array of zero-based row and column indices.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int [] = CellAddressToIndex ( string data );
Parameters
data
A string containing a cell address sequence such as “BA02”. The string cannot be larger than 256 bytes.
Return Value
Returns an int array containing two zero-based integer elements for the row and column or an empty array on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
The row is array position 0 and the column is position 1. The positions also have the key names ‘Row’ and ‘Col’. The only error that the GetLastError function will return is a syntax error.
