XBRLGetFactsByElement Function
Overview
The XBRLGetFactsByElement function returns a fact as specified by file order position or as filtered by element name.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string[][] = XBRLGetFactsByElement ( handle hXM, string element );
Parameters
hXM
A handle to an XBRL Object containing instance data.
element
A string specifying a element match string. The string can contain wildcard characters. Note that elements normally are QNames and, as such, contain prefixes.
Return Value
Returns a string table of fact properties or an empty array on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve a formatted error code.
Remarks
Each matching item is placed in the resulting table as a row with named columns for each fact. The column employs the key names specified at Section 11.20.9 Instance — Facts.
If there are no matching items, an empty array is returned.
