Chapter Eighteen — DataView Integration (continued)
Overview
The DataViewActivateTab function brings a specified tab forward and set the focus on the tab.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = DataViewActivateTab ( handle hView, int index );
Parameters
hView
A handle to either a Data View Object or to a window that employs Data View.
index
An int specifying a zero-based tab index.
Return Value
Returns an int as ERROR_NONE or a formatted error code. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
Each tab is an MDI Edit View for the for the specified Data View container. While implementation specific, the maximum count is constant (generally 512).
Depending on the operating conditions, the tab may not be fully updated until the currently operating script releases the processing thread.
