Chapter Eighteen — DataView Integration (continued)
Overview
The DataViewGetTabCount function returns the total number of tabs contained in a Data View Object.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
int = DataViewGetTabCount ( handle hView );
Parameters
hView
A handle to either a Data View Object or to a window that employs Data View.
Return Value
Returns an int containing the number of tabs within the object or window or -1 if an error occurs. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information.
Remarks
Each tab is an MDI Edit View for the for the specified Data View container. While implementation specific, the maximum count is constant (generally 512).
