Overview
The DataViewGetCaret function returns the caret position as a cell address string.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = DataViewGetCaret ( handle object );
Parameters
object
An object handle to either a Data View Object or to a window that employs Data View.
Return Value
Returns a string containing a cell address or an empty string on error. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information
Remarks
Cell address strings are typically of the form ‘BA02’. Use the CellAddressGetColumn and CellAddressGetRow functions to convert the address into integer column and row positions.
