Chapter Twenty-one — WebView Interface (continued)
Overview
The WebViewGetURL function returns the URL for the active page within a specified WebView Object.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
string = WebViewGetURL ( handle hWVO );
Parameters
hWVO
A handle specifying a WebView Object.
Return Value
A string representing the URL for the page being displayed WebView Object or an empty string on failure. Use GetLastError to retrieve additional error information.
Remarks
The URL retrieved is the page location as viewed by a user including the scheme, query and fragment. For example, “https://www.example.com/path/page.php?item=1000#link”. The URL may not be the same page that the WebView requested from a server. This can be the case if the WebView was automatically redirected, performed a POST operation or the URL was rewritten by server-side processing.
