The SEC advises that filers who call Filer Support on peak filing days may experience longer than usual wait times. On peak days, EDGAR filing volume tends to be highest one hour prior to the end of the filing day. In anticipation of potentially slower processing times on high filing volume days, the SEC suggests filers submit any test or relevant live filings prior to the filing’s due date. Filers are encouraged to plan their filings accordingly to avoid the last-minute stress of an approaching deadline compounded by the congestion of the EDGAR System.
