Novaworks Offers Webinar: Exploring the Impact of Data Transparency on Municipal Reporting
Novaworks will host a free webinar geared toward investors, state and local governments and other market participants to delve into the changes that are coming with the Financial Data Transparency Act (FDTA). This hour-long webinar will be offered on the first Tuesday of every month, beginning May 7th. When registering, attendees simply choose the date and time that works best.
In this webinar, our staff will:
- provide an overview of the FDTA
- review the new requirements under the FDTA
- discuss the implications of these changes for financial reporting by municipalities and governmental entities
- offer guidance on how to prepare for the transition to structured data for annual comprehensive financial reports and filings to EMMA, the official source for municipal securities data and documents
