The XBRL US Center for Data Quality has opened the Version 25 public exposure period for review and comment, which concludes on September 9, 2024. This version includes automated checks and rule updates for filers using the US GAAP and IFRS taxonomies from July 23, 2024, through September 9, 2024.
The following validation rules and guidance are included in the review of version 25:
DQC_0190 (Employee Benefit Reporting (US GAAP))
This rule contains a number of checks to ensure that the form 11-K (EBP) is completed in compliance with the FASB implementation guide.
DQC_0191 (Proxy – PEO Concepts Recorded with NEO Member (US GAAP))
This rule checks proxy filings to ensure that the PEO elements ecd:PeoName, ecd:PeoTotalCompAmt, ecd:PeoActuallyPaidCompAmt are not used with the axis ExecutiveCategoryAxis and member NonPeoNeoMember.
DQC_0192 (Balance Sheet Numerical Scaling (US GAAP))
This rule checks if the scale used on monetary amounts reported on the balance sheet is correct.

Interested parties, including public companies, data providers, analysts and XBRL providers, may submit comments related to the rules by using the general feedback form on xbrl.us. Generally, rules are considered for approval within 45 days of the close of the comment period and should be implemented in all filings within 90 days of approval.
