Once created, you will see an edit window that will contain all your form information. This file is a GoFiler project, which stores the data until you are ready to file. When you file a GoFiler project, GoFiler creates the XML submission and sends the information to the EDGAR system. But in the meantime, you can edit, validate, and review your data using the GoFiler project.

GoFiler projects are easy to edit. You can click on a field and enter data manually or copy and paste information from various sources. Series and class information can be retrieved from the GoFiler Series and Class Library to facilitate data entry. Most of the fields for N-PX are simple and take only a few seconds to complete. The proxy voting record is where the challenge for many filers will lie.
