The SEC's Division of Investment Management has announced that it will host its 2025 Conference on Emerging Trends in Asset Management at which the Division will convene a variety of asset management industry participants, regulators, commentators, and academics to discuss emerging trends in the industry. The conference takes place on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET, and is open for the public to attend. No registration is required for those attending the event via live broadcast on sec.gov.
The event will include discussions with industry experts on the following panel topics:
- Trends Over Time (with Former SEC Investment Management Directors)
- Digital Assets and Tokenization
- Product Proliferation and Innovation in Registered Funds
- Retail Access to Private Markets
